Our Free World
Explore connected towns, take everyday jobs, meet residents, and build a life through ordinary choices.
About the game
Our Free World is a family-friendly life simulation built around useful routines instead of combat. The project began in Northport, where the Delivery Office, Quick Mart, Fishing Pier, and local residents give the player several ways to spend a day.
Development has expanded into Sunset Coast with a restaurant, coffee shop, compact mall, travel links, errands, and friendship systems. Each new place must contribute an activity or relationship rather than existing only as scenery.
What you can do
- Walkable locations connected by local travel
- Jobs and errands with understandable goals
- NPC friendship that grows through repeated interaction
- A map designed to orient the player without replacing exploration
A good first session
- Visit a nearby workplace and read the task before starting.
- Speak with residents more than once to see how familiarity changes.
- Use the map to identify a district, then learn the route by walking it.
Why we designed it this way
Ordinary work can be meaningful when the player sees who benefits from it.
Friendship and place memory help the world feel connected without requiring a complicated quest log.
